CUFX - About us

Background
CUF Xchange is part of the work of the Church Urban Fund (CUF).

Church Urban Fund has existed as a fund for faith-based social action projects since 1987. CUF provides grants for activities which confront issues related to poverty and disadvantage in the top 10% poorest areas of England. CUF is also a research organisation working with partners to explore the impact of poverty and the projects working to confront it.

Providing a Platform
CUF Xchange provides a platform for projects working in poor and disadvantaged communities, to share their own insights and to highlight:

Approaches which are effective - How have you got it right?
Practice which is distinctive - How has your faith informed your work?
Specific obstacles, which prevent development - What restricts and limits the work you do?
