Background
CUF Xchange is part of the work of the
Church Urban Fund (CUF).
Church Urban Fund has existed as a fund for faith-based social action projects since 1987. CUF provides
grants for activities which confront issues related to poverty and disadvantage in the top 10% poorest areas of England. CUF is also a
research organisation
working with partners to explore the impact of poverty and the projects working to confront it.
Providing a Platform
CUF Xchange provides a platform for projects working in poor and disadvantaged communities, to share their own insights and to highlight:
- Approaches which are effective - How have you got it right?
- Practice which is distinctive - How has your faith informed your work?
- Specific obstacles, which prevent development - What restricts and limits the work you do?
Website
CUF Xchange is a website where you can
- Write about your project
- Promote what you do that is effective and distinctive
- Highlight the obstacles your project confronts
Sharing Insights
You can use the CUF Xchange website to link with other projects and support or create your own networks. CUF Xchange works with networks and groups to:
- Bring practitioners together, to share insights about practice that is effective and distinctive and the obstacles projects confront
- Share these findings with policy makers and government
Getting started with CUF Xchange is simple.
