Funding: BBC Children in Need

BBC Children in Need have relaunched their grants programme. There will now be 4 funding rounds each year and applications must be submitted online. Funding will continue to be available for work with disadvantaged young people aged 18 and under. The next application deadline is 15 January 2009.

Funding: Parenting Fund

The third round of the Parenting Fund provides a grant fund from the Department for Children, Schools and Families of £16 million over two years for projects starting in April 2009. Recipients will be charities and not-for-profit organisations undertaking parenting support work where parents, families and children face significant challenges. Applicants must need at least £50,000 over the two years and be based in one of 23 English local government areas. Application deadline 12 December.
